Shane has two decades’ experience in communications working both in-house and as a consultant. He has worked across industries including resources, information technology, transport, infrastructure and financial services.
Beginning his career in the small business sector, Shane brings a pragmatic and grounded approach to problem solving. He has worked extensively with senior leaders in government and across the private sector, including in-house at the Commonwealth Bank where he was responsible for internal and external reputational issues management for Enterprise Services.
In the UK Shane worked for the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister on local government reform and service delivery.
His work as a policy adviser to two federal government ministers and as a media adviser in the NSW government has provided a strong understanding and deep insight into the political and media landscapes.
Shane's corporate expertise includes crisis management, organisational transformation, profile building, stakeholder management, government relations and internal communications.
